I’m Kristin Schmidtke, I have been with PetersonAnthony since 2017 and recently became owner with my husband Ryan in January 2022. I officially received my agent license in 2018 and love being a part of the team at PetersonAnthony. I grew up in the small town of Ringsted, Iowa with my farming family. I moved to Fairmont when I married my husband, Ryan, in 2004. We have two very active boys, Brendan and Cameron.

 Before becoming a part of the PetersonAnthony team, I previously worked as a daycare provider for 19 years. Having the knowledge of owning a daycare business helped me move into a new career as an insurance agent knowing how to relate to customers and their needs.

At PetersonAnthony, I am passionate about helping our customers. I love greeting our customers when they walk through our door and helping them with whatever their needs are. We go above and beyond while getting to know our customers on a personal level as well. Writing home and auto policies is a favorite of mine here at the agency!

Outside of the agency, I enjoy spending time with family as much as I can. We love attending our boys sporting activities, vacationing, spending time on the lake or helping on the farm.
